  3.     It's inevitable.  I write a display hack, and people ask for more.
  4. Well, here's some more.  Welcome to ES 2.0.

  6.     The following blurb was written by my new PR assistant:

  10.     EwhaCo introduces the latest version of ES:  ES 2.0.  The latest
  11. generation of open system-motivated and industry standard starfield
  12. generators.

  14.     The original ES (EuroStars) program established new industry-wide
  15. standards for starfield programs, including the use of standard system
  16. displays, complete system compatibility, open systems interconnectivity
  17. through ARexx, and the innovative new StArgs(tm) starfield manipulation
  18. argument format.

  20.     ES 2.0 offers you complete compatibility with version 1.0, and gives
  21. you all these new features:
  22.     o Better performance, especially on 68000-based systems,
  23.     o More stars,
  24.     o Finer rotation,
  25.     o Smoother star movement,
  26.     o Supports the A4000, the AA chipset, and v3.0,
  27.     o Improved overscan support,
  28.     o Full support for StArgs(tm) arguments in Workbench icons,
  29.     o Smaller executable.

  31.     Your upgrade couldn't be more transparent.  Just install the new
  32. program.  That's all.  No need to modify system files, change scripts, move
  33. boards, move cables, or flip switches.  What could be simpler?

  35.     You can't afford to wait.

  37.     ES 2.0.  Live in the future.  Now.

  39.     I don't think I'll be using my PR assistant again...

  41.     This distribution contains complete documentation and some example
  42. project icons which can be used to launch the program in various ways.
  43. Study the icon ToolTypes to see how this is done.  It also contains the
  44. complete way-cool totally-rewritten mega-optimized assembly source code, so
  45. that you may study, learn, and customize.

  47.     BTW, I'd like to offer some thanks I neglected to mention in version
  48. 1.0.  I'd like to thank Glen McDiarmid and The Puzzle Factory for their
  49. magnificent disassembler, ReSource v4.16, which was used to make the initial
  50. disassembly; and to INOVATronics and Metadigm for MetaScope v1.50, the
  51. *ONLY* useful debugger I have ever used.

  53.     I also like to again thank Greg Cunningham for bringing the original
  54. Euro code to my attention, and the European hacking community, without
  55. whom this program would not have been necessary :-).
